Why Visual studio not showing auto completion?

I have been having issues with Intellisense in Microsoft Visual Studio 2012. I will be working on a project, editing code and whatnot (after some time, anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour) and all of a sudden, no more code suggestions or intellisense. Both seem to stop working completely at the same time.

1. Install Visual Studio.
   https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/
2. Go to tools -> Get tool and Features.
   
3. Select two module
   • Game development with unity
   • Game development with C++.
     
4. Click on Modify button.
