The input axis vertical is not set up?

The input axis vertical is not set up. Hello guys, I'm new here and I trying to make my first game. So after some scripting, there is a problem it says:
ArgumentException: Input Axis vertical is not set up.

To change the input settings use: Edit -> Project Settings -> Input paddle.Update () (at Assets/scriptes/paddle.cs:11)

Go to Edit>Project settings>Input Manager>top right there are three dots(inside input manager window)>reset
